Justin joined Arena Stage as their Solo Horn in 2015. Since, he has performed on the productions of Oliver and Carousel. Arena Stage is alive as a center for American Theater in our nation’s capital with productions, diverse and innovative works from around the country and the nurturing of new plays.
Justin has performed with the National Philharmonic since 2006, and as Third Horn since 2009. Justin supports their mission to provide the highest quality orchestral, choral and other musical experiences to enrich and inspire the lives of people in Montgomery County, the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond through concerts and educational programs for all ages.
Justin joined the Apollo Orchestra in 2012 not long after the group was founded. Apollo provides showcase opportunities for young professional talent. In addition to promoting and nurturing the careers of young musicians they are equally focused on providing an involving, live-music experience for the local communities in the DC region.
Justin is excited to join the Gourmet Symphony, founded in 2014. The mission of the Gourmet Symphony is to reimagine the symphonic music experience by presenting culinary-inspired concerts that unite DC’s cultural and artisanal communities.
The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass is composed of some of America's top brass musicians dedicated to bringing the joyous experience of great music to a wide range of audiences. A group that always reflects the diverse makeup of men and women in the American culture, RMPBB is dedicated to the notion that music is a gift to be enjoyed by everyone. The group is especially dedicated to reaching out to the world's youth and inspiring them to reach for their dreams.
Justin partipated in the National Orchestral Insitute (NOI) in 2006-2008. He also has served on staff since 2009. NOI is a four-week summer program of intensive study at the University of Maryland covering Orchestral Performance, Chamber Music and Professional Development.
